An Open Letter on Technology Innovation

Everyone knows and understands that Technology continues to advance at a rapid rate so why is it that you never seem able to take advantage of it. When you check into new technologies, they always seem so expensive, bleeding edge, dangerous to investment time and money. However you always have that feeling that you could take considerable advantage of the technology if you could just find the right deal.

At KayPat Enterprises we understand these feelings. We have sat at that desk thinking the same things, wondering why. Then one day we understood the problem. We were always talking to the vendors about THEIR products and not how to best solve our problems. Vendors tell you all of the good points of their products, then place Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt (FUD) on the other vendor’s products. Of course this FUD then makes you doubt everything. The fear factor is, “Are you willing to put your job on the line?” So you end up telling your peers and bosses that the technology is just not ready yet for prime time and “we should just wait for someone else to work out the bugs”.
